Cleaning Up

After working on the bottom or any dirty job, please use the Wash Tub/Porta Potty Rooms to clean up — located in the rear corner of the office building or the Laundry Room in the bathhouse. Both have hot water.

Please do not use bathroom sinks to clean up after bottom painting.

The EPA forbids disposal of "wet" paint products in trash receptacles. A drying bin is located next to the bottom wash pit for brushes, rollers, pans and cans.

Spring Launchings

We schedule a specific number of boats each week. We recommend arranging your launching at least 2 weeks prior. Launching Work Orders must be prepaid — arrange by phone with a credit card.

To check for leaks, we need your cabin key or current combination. Mooring lines must be onboard and their location noted on your Work Order. Remove work ladders from cradles prior to launch week.

Service Reminders

Bottom Painting

If you arranged for our Service Department to paint your bottom, please advise Service of your launching date at least 3 weeks prior to avoid delays.

Service Work Orders

If you are considering having our service department work on your boat this spring, contact Brian or Joe now to avoid the rush. Spring work orders could experience up to a 3 week wait.

Important Guidelines

Shrink Wrap Recycling

A dumpster in the Visitors Parking lot is available for paper, glass, cans and plastic. Starting in April a larger recycling dumpster will be in place for shrink wrap through May. Please do not dispose of shrink wrap in other containers.

Private Contractors

If hiring a private contractor, please let the office know — we need your authorization and all outside contractors must have a current Certificate of Liability Insurance on file.

Gate Access Card

Please bring your gate access card each visit. The card is for your use ONLY — unauthorized use could result in termination of gate access. Always use your card to enter and exit.

Water Service Schedule

Dry Storage Areas & Pier A: by March 20th. Piers 2–8: by April 15th. Hot water available year-round in the Wash Tub/Porta Potty room and laundry room.
